FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are your therapists registered?
All therapists at In Good Hands have completed a 2 year, 2200 hour program at a Massage Therapy College. Every therapist is a Registered Massage Therapist.

Do you direct bill?
Yes, we direct bill to Blue Cross and Canada Life, if your plan allows for the assignment of benefits. Please read what is required for you to bring.

Do you do couples massages?
No, we do not.  We do not have a couples room and coordinating appointments with different therapists can be difficult to schedule.

Do I need to book in advance?
Scheduling in advance is necessary.  How far in advance you book is determined by your availability and your therapist’s schedule.  Evening and Saturday appointments fill up very fast, so if that is your availability you’ll need to book accordingly.

For my first appointment what should I bring?
Please bring all pertinent medical documents such as MRI reports or Physio reports that help us to understand your medical concerns. Please bring all necessary insurance information or we may be unable to direct bill for you.

What should I wear?
What you wear during your treatment is a personal choice.  Some clients prefer to completely disrobe, while others prefer to leave on their undergarments. You can also bring shorts. Your comfort level is most important.

Can I use my insurance to buy a gift certificate?
Gift certificates cannot be purchased using your insurance. Your insurance is meant for you and you alone. It can only be used for the person and service it is assigned to. By using your insurance to pay for a gift certificate, you would in fact be committing insurance fraud.
